About the role

Karen Tupper Recruitment is advertising a full-time Outlets Manager position in the Western Cape, South Africa. The role oversees daily restaurant and beverage operations and leads the team delivering consistent service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant and beverage operations, ensuring consistent service excellence.
• Lead, motivate and develop teams through coaching, training and performance management.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, productivity and financial performance.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and ensure an outstanding guest experience.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, food safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus, promotions and revenue-generating opportunities.
• Manage staffing, recruitment, scheduling and operational planning.
• Monitor service quality and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• South African citizen residing in the Cape Town area.
• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 3 years' experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury lodge within food and beverage management or a related hospitality role.
• Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; financial and analytical acumen and computer literacy.
• Able to multitask, prioritise and perform under pressure; flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Well presented, professional, organised and passionate about guest service.
