Outlets Manager - Luxury Hotel, Cape Town

About the role

Career Growth, Hospitality Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Outlets Manager on behalf of a luxury hotel in Cape Town. The role suits a hands-on hospitality professional who enjoys leading teams, delivering exceptional guest experiences and managing the commercial performance of busy food and beverage outlets. You will report to the Senior Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and oversee daily restaurant and bar operations, supported by floor management and supervisory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily outlet operations, keeping service, presentation, cleanliness and ambience at a consistently high standard.
• Drive guest satisfaction, respond proactively to feedback and resolve complaints.
• Manage departmental budgets, monitor costs and productivity, and support financial targets.
• Coach, motivate and develop colleagues, build a culture of teamwork and accountability, set performance expectations, run reviews and identify training needs.
• Help with recruitment, staffing, rostering and keeping staffing levels appropriate.
• Work closely with the culinary and stewarding teams for smooth service delivery.
• Contribute to menu development, promotions and initiatives that increase food and beverage revenue.
• Maintain food and beverage controls and ensure compliance with legislation, health and safety requirements and company standards.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.
• At least three years' experience in food and beverage management, culinary operations or a related field.
• Excellent guest service skills, professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Confident leadership, able to coach teams and manage performance.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical ability and understanding of budgets and cost control.
• Excellent written and spoken English; an additional language is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work the hours required by hotel operations.
