Outbound Sales Consultant (RE5/FAIS) – Pretoria East

About the role

The Outbound Sales Consultant will engage prospective and existing customers by making high‑volume outbound calls, converting cold leads and warm transfers into insurance sales. The role requires a strong focus on customer needs, regulatory compliance and delivering a professional onboarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Make high‑volume outbound sales calls to prospects and existing customers.
• Handle warm transfers from lead‑generation teams and convert them into sales.
• Identify customer needs through questioning and active listening.
• Present appropriate insurance solutions, explaining features, premiums, exclusions and policy terms.
• Overcome objections and close sales while ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions, disclosures and consents in the CRM system.
• Adhere to FAIS, Treating Customers Fairly and other regulatory requirements.
• Achieve daily call, talk‑time and monthly sales targets and meet quality and compliance scores.
• Share best practices with teammates and contribute ideas to improve scripts and campaigns.

Required profile

• Matric Certificate.
• RE5 qualification.
• FAIS‑recognised qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a CRM system for data entry and tracking.
