Outbound Referral Advisor – Insurance Sales

About the role

As an Outbound Referral Advisor you will engage prospective customers over the phone, introduce them to OUTsurance’s insurance solutions and convert qualified leads into sales. The role combines customer service excellence with a performance‑driven sales approach in a dynamic call‑centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound cold‑calls to generate new business and meet defined quantity and quality targets.
• Provide clear, accurate information about insurance products and guide customers through the purchasing decision.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge to ensure customers receive the best advice.
• Utilise persuasive techniques to close sales while adhering to quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and collective sales objectives.

Required profile

• Matriculation (or equivalent) and successful completion of the FAIS Regulatory Exam.
• Recognised qualification relevant to advisory or sales roles.
• Previous call‑centre or telesales experience, preferably within the short‑term insurance sector.
