Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing appropriate treatments or referrals
• Advise patients on eyewear selection, lens options and contact lenses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Stay updated with the latest developments in optometry

Required profile

• Optometry degree
• HPCSA registration
• Updated CPD points
• 1-3 years of experience
• Valid driver's licence

• Strong clinical skills and the ability to carry out thorough eye examinations
• Excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with a diverse clientele
