The position is permanent and open to candidates with between 0 and 1 year of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribing treatments or making referrals
• Advise patients on eyewear, lens options and contact lenses
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient care
• Stay current with developments in optometry

Required profile

• Optometry degree and HPCSA registration
• Updated CPD points
• Valid driver's licence
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Experience of 0 to 1 year
