Ops Checker – Phillippi

About the role

Our client imports, exports and distributes seafood products worldwide. The Ops Checker ensures that every order meets quality‑control standards before it is dispatched to internal and external customers, confirming completeness and accuracy before consolidation and loading. The role also supports ad‑hoc tasks as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general administrative duties related to warehouse operations.
• Maintain warehouse integrity and ensure stock is allocated correctly in the system.
• Verify weight and carton counts before loading and unloading.
• Confirm the correct product, quantity and condition of stock before dispatch.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and corresponds to the shipment.
• Monitor order flow to guarantee planned execution.
• Keep the receiving/dispatch area clean and organized at all times.

Required skills

• Matric (high school) qualification.
• Computer literate; Excel proficiency is advantageous.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or cold‑store environment.

What we offer

• Permanent contract with a 6‑month probation period.
• Market‑related remuneration.
• Standard hours: Monday‑Friday 08:00‑17:00, with occasional weekends/overtime as required.
