Operations Manager

About the role

AltGen is seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to bring structure and operational control to its fast‑growing recruitment and employment services business across multiple African countries and the UK. You will be the backbone of day‑to‑day execution, ensuring information is accurate, workflows are efficient and operational tasks are completed on time.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational trackers, reports and business information.
• Keep document management tools, ATS records and internal systems up to date.
• Improve workflows, SOPs and internal admin processes.
• Support onboarding, off‑boarding, IT access and asset tracking.
• Coordinate operational actions across teams and follow up until completion.
• Assist recruitment administration, interview scheduling, background checks and ATS updates.
• Manage office suppliers, facilities, consumables and daily office operations.
• Arrange local and international travel as required.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline admin, document production, reporting and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• Highly organised and detail‑focused.
• Strong follow‑up, accountability and operational control.
• Comfortable juggling multiple systems, priorities and entities.
• Proactive, practical and able to work without being chased.
• Willing to create structure in a fast‑moving environment.
