Operations Coordinator – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Operations Coordinator to manage the day‑to‑day execution of pool construction projects after a sale is closed. Working remotely from South Africa on US business hours, you will ensure that materials, equipment and subcontractors are aligned so projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all operational activities after project hand‑over from sales.
• Order construction materials and equipment according to project specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to secure timely delivery.
• Track orders from purchase through delivery and resolve any delays.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor budgets and keep accurate cost records.
• Compare supplier pricing and negotiate cost‑saving opportunities.
• Keep detailed records of purchases, invoices, delivery schedules and project documentation.
• Provide regular status updates to internal teams and management.
• Manage multiple active construction projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations coordination, project coordination, purchasing, procurement, supply chain or construction administration.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle several projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
• Comfortable working with budgets, purchase orders, invoices and project documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
