About the role

The Operational Support Manager (OSM) leads a clustered Momentum Distribution Services (MDS) support administration team, ensuring the delivery of distribution solutions to independent financial advisers (IFAs). This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, stakeholder experience, and achieving sales targets across the Limpopo region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor distribution solutions to ensure efficient operations of the cluster.
• Lead and develop the MDS support administration team, fostering a culture of service excellence.
• Maintain smooth workflow, pipeline, and activity processes, driving process improvements and digital transformation.
• Oversee office facilities, including management of assistants and drivers.
• Manage IFA onboarding, off‑boarding, and transfer processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or NQF 7 business‑related tertiary qualification; management development programme desirable.
• 5–8 years office management/general operations experience, preferably within IFA management.
• 5–8 years administration office management experience.
• 3–5 years people‑management experience in a financial services environment.
• 3–5 years experience conversing on retail (health, savings, life insurance) and investment products (Section 14, 37, 50).
• Knowledge of regional IFA operations, financial services regulations, and investment product suites.

Required skills
