Onsite SLA Technician – Contract

About the role

The Onsite SLA Technician provides on‑site technical support and maintenance for client sites, handling installations, inspections and after‑hours calls. Working in shifts, the technician ensures equipment reliability and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, replace and configure company hardware, software and low‑voltage equipment.
• Set up, test and commission LAN/WAN networks, cable runs, conduits, and power supplies.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot faults, read repair manuals and run diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, documentation and customer communication throughout each job.
• Provide after‑hour support and respond to emergency calls as required.
• Work under the direction of the Project/Installation Manager and liaise with other professionals on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a low‑voltage technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and computer/IT components.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, in a team and handle shift work (morning/night).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
