Online History Teacher – British International Curriculum

About the role

We are an innovative online education institution delivering the British International Curriculum worldwide. We are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to deliver engaging virtual lessons to learners from Grade 8 through A‑Level, including IGCSE and A‑Level programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive online History lessons for grades 8‑12, IGCSE and A‑Level students.
• Support and mentor learners in their academic development, providing timely feedback.
• Prepare, assess and grade student work in line with curriculum standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions and administrative duties.
• Maintain a positive, interactive virtual classroom environment.

Required profile

• Fully qualified with a B.Ed or an undergraduate degree plus relevant PGCE and SACE certification.
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the FET phase.
• Proven ability to teach History at IGCSE and A‑Level; knowledge of Psychology is a plus.
• Strong IT proficiency for managing virtual classrooms and online assessments.
• Excellent presentation, communication and administrative skills.
• Well‑spoken, energetic, patient, responsible and cheerful.

Required skills

• Proficiency with e‑learning tools and online teaching platforms.
