Officer – Family Math Resource Centre (Level 11)

About the role

The University of the Free State is seeking an Officer for its Family Math Resource Centre. This permanent, onsite position supports the administration, production, and quality control of mathematics training materials for teacher professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain detailed records of project participants and prepare registration, attendance, feedback and assessment forms.
• Compile and edit training material lists, perform technical editing, quality control and final computer layout of modules.
• Supervise the manufacturing, packaging and dispatch of activity materials and worksheets to participating teachers.
• Conduct quality checks on training materials and supplier deliveries, reconcile contents with participant lists, and follow up on receipt of dispatched items.
• Travel as required to fulfil project requirements and support mentoring visits.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of the Free State (internal posting only).
• Ability to submit a detailed CV, copies of qualifications (with SAQA accreditation for foreign qualifications), and proof of identity.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for record‑keeping and material handling.
