Ocean Import Agent

About the role

Expeditors is seeking an Ocean Import Agent to ensure the timely and accurate movement of freight and information while delivering exceptional customer service. You will work within a global logistics network, supporting import operations and maintaining high standards of data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage import orders from receipt to delivery.
• Log and prepare files for import, receive and process documents.
• Track shipments, handle invoicing, and manage ULI filings.
• Recoveries and product agent duties as required.
• Maintain accurate data entry and resolve exceptions promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar import logistics role.
• College degree or higher.
• Strong knowledge of global logistics and supply chain processes.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
