Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner

About the role

Buscor (Pty) Ltd is seeking a qualified Occupational Health Nursing Practitioner to join its Malelane clinic. The role involves delivering primary and occupational health services, supporting safety programs, and ensuring high‑quality clinical care for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage primary health care and occupational health clinic programmes.
• Provide first‑aid, injury management and medical surveillance for staff.
• Conduct audiometry, spirometry and vision screening assessments.
• Support occupational health and safety initiatives and liaise with hygiene professionals.
• Prepare annual clinic budgets, monthly reports and quality‑assurance documentation.
• Assist the company medical practitioner with clinical duties as needed.

Required profile

• Grade 12 certificate and a degree/diploma in Primary and Occupational Health.
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council and the South African Society for Occupational Health Nursing.
• Valid dispensing licence.
• Minimum three years’ experience in primary and occupational health care.
• First‑aid level 2 or 3 certification, own transport and medical fitness.
