NTP Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The NTP Sourcing Specialist will support Non‑Trade Procurement Business Partners in developing and executing category strategies, ensuring spend transparency and delivering sourcing projects on time and within approved guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Business Partners in preparing, communicating and executing category strategies.
• Capture specifications for goods and services and maintain data quality protocols for spend analysis.
• Collect stakeholder feedback to align sourcing initiatives with short‑ and long‑term business priorities.
• Plan and execute sourcing projects according to approved strategies, quality standards and methodologies.
• Identify project and supply risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to achieve tactical and operational sourcing objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and apply good governance in vendor evaluation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Management or related field.
• Relevant professional qualification such as MCIPS or a Project Management certificate/diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a multinational corporate environment and 2 years in strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical, numerical and interpretive abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with major ERP systems.
• Familiarity with sourcing and contracting platforms.
• Project management expertise.
