Night Duty Manager

About the role

Mediclinic Hoogland is recruiting a Night Duty Manager, a leadership position within its nursing management team. You will lead and manage the hospital during night shifts, ensuring continuous safe patient care and a positive patient experience by coordinating clinical and non-clinical resources and services at night. The workplace is on-site and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a quality service to patients in line with patient safety standards
• Achieve clinical quality standards according to policies and procedures
• Ensure the optimal use and competence of staff, whose behaviour reflects the organisation's core values
• Ensure continuity of patient care through effective supervision
• Coordinate resources efficiently to enhance safe patient care

Required profile

• B degree or diploma in nursing (essential)
• Desired: relevant management and leadership qualification
• Essential: 5 years of clinical experience as a professional nurse
• Desired: 2 to 3 years of unit-level management experience (SPN/UM)
