Medical Advisor – Cardiometabolic

About the role

The Medical Advisor – Cardiometabolic will join Aspen’s Medical Affairs team to provide scientific expertise and strategic input across the product lifecycle for cardiometabolic therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product lifecycle in collaboration with Brand Managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Lead and develop the local medical strategy and activities in line with regulations.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams to design and execute medical plans.
• Stay current with medical and scientific developments in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area and deliver training to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide in‑depth therapy‑area expertise, competitor insights, and evidence planning.
• Engage KOLs and expert groups for strategic discussions and evidence generation.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of medical content across all tools and materials, and oversee medical program logistics.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background and expertise in cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Experience communicating medical and scientific information internally and externally.
• Ability to collaborate with Brand, Market Access, and other functional teams.
• Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with external experts and KOLs.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering value throughout the product lifecycle.
