.Net Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced .Net Application Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on developing, enhancing and maintaining digital service applications while ensuring high quality, security and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance company Digital Service applications.
• Resolve application defects, incidents and service requests.
• Support business application integration and optimisation.
• Address data quality, synchronisation and alignment issues.
• Design, implement and optimise DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Remediate ICT audit findings and security vulnerabilities.
• Redesign, optimise and tune SQL Server databases.
• Review and modernise Azure application architecture.
• Develop and enhance mobile applications using Xamarin and .NET MAUI.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation and technical support.
• Prepare monthly progress and support reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Microsoft .NET development.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on C# development.
• Proven experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core and Web API.
• Strong background in SQL Server administration and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD implementation.
• Hands‑on experience integrating enterprise applications.
• Experience developing mobile solutions with Xamarin and .NET MAUI.
• Knowledge of Azure application architecture and solution design.
