Multimedia Designer (Junior) – Creative Visuals

About the role

We are looking for a creative Multimedia Designer to join our fast‑growing, tech‑driven team in Johannesburg. This junior‑level position offers the chance to develop visual storytelling skills across digital and print media while supporting senior designers on a variety of branding, marketing and sales projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create graphics and layouts for digital and print assets such as social media posts, presentations, advertisements and brand collateral.
• Assist senior designers with project execution, image editing and retouching.
• Prepare final artwork for production, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Collaborate with team members, incorporate feedback and meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or a related field.
• Entry‑level to junior experience with a portfolio that demonstrates design capability.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
• Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro (advantageous).
• Understanding of typography, colour theory and layout principles.
• Experience designing for web and print, including PowerPoint and Canva.
