Multimedia Designer

About the role

Mustard Seed is looking for a craft‑led Multimedia Designer to join its hybrid studio in Stellenbosch. You will translate brand strategy into engaging visual experiences across print, social media and video formats, working at a fast pace in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt campaign creative for a wide range of formats, ensuring high visual quality.
• Create social‑media assets that capture attention and drive engagement.
• Edit short‑form video content and produce reels/TikToks that meet platform standards.
• Maintain consistent brand identity across all channels.
• Prepare presentation decks to showcase work to internal and external stakeholders.
• Organise and export files with clear naming conventions.
• Collaborate closely with the creative director, copywriters, designers and the social team.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a studio or agency environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print, social media and video work.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Digital‑first mindset with knowledge of platform‑specific best practices.
• Good sense of humour and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• After Effects and/or Premiere Pro
• Keynote or PowerPoint
