About the role
We are seeking a self‑motivated MSc student with a physics background to join an industry‑linked, international research collaboration at Stellenbosch University. The work focuses on experimental optical quantum computing, investigating photonics‑based quantum gates.
Required profile
- Strong background in physics and programming (preferably Python; LabVIEW advantageous)
- Experimental experience in optics or a strong interest in hands‑on work
- BSc (Honours) in Physics
- Good communication and social skills
- Strong academic record and high motivation
