Mining Sales Engineer

About the role

Communicate Engineering is seeking a Mining Sales Engineer to drive business development and support high‑impact projects in the mineral processing sector. The role combines technical expertise with client‑facing activities, requiring travel across South Africa and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and submit tenders, quotes, and proposals for mining equipment and services.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct audits, and recommend design improvements.
• Maintain contracts, ensure compliance, and implement marketing initiatives.
• Travel locally and internationally to support sales activities and project deliveries.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in the mineral processing industry.
• Degree in Mechanical or Processing Engineering (BEng, BTech, or Ndip).
• Fluency in Portuguese and a valid passport.
• South African residency or a valid work permit.
