Midweight Designer – 6‑Month Fixed‑Term (UK Hours)

About the role

Our client in the UK is seeking a Midweight Designer to join their in‑house marketing team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will own the brand’s visual output across social media, presentations, research reports and other collateral, working closely with the Growth & Marketing Director.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of social media graphics and assets for owned channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Own and evolve presentation decks and templates, delivering polished, on‑brand work at speed.
• Drive the production of research reports and thought‑leadership content, handling layout, typography and data visualisation.
• Take ownership of brand identity by developing templates, maintaining guidelines and advancing the visual language.
• Create motion graphics and animations for social content.
• Partner with the wider marketing team on campaigns and launches, often leading creative direction.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of design experience with a strong, varied portfolio.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Confidence working independently and managing briefs end‑to‑end.
• Genuine understanding of social‑media culture and what makes great content.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to give and receive creative feedback constructively.
