Mid-Weight Designer

About the role

homechoice is seeking a Mid‑Weight Designer to bring its brand and campaigns to life across print and digital platforms. Working closely with Marketing, Merchandise and Photography teams, you will create customer‑centric designs that align with the brand’s corporate identity and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Creatively execute design briefs from marketing and translate them into print and digital assets.
• Collaborate with merchandise and photography teams on product and image selection.
• Develop design templates for print material, plan layouts and prepare files for publication.
• Produce high‑quality designs that follow current print best practices and ensure repro‑ready files.
• Roll out campaign artwork from key visuals across multiple sizes, platforms and mediums.
• Implement brand CI, marketing directives and themes across all publications.
• Maintain continuity of design across print materials and consider user perspective, customer experience and journey.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design.
• Minimum 5 years of print design experience with large‑layout focus.
• Minimum 3 years of digital design experience, understanding of mobile‑first design.
• Experience in an online retail or e‑commerce environment is advantageous.
• Problem‑solver, multi‑tasker with excellent attention to detail.
• Team player, strong time‑management skills and ability to deliver within agreed timelines.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Competent use of Adobe XD.
• Competent use of Adobe Photoshop.
