Mid-Level .NET Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated mid‑level developer to join our small, well‑established team in Pretoria. You will work on maintaining and expanding our C#‑based web applications while collaborating closely with other developers and business analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade existing C# web applications.
• Create new solutions on the .NET platform, including APIs.
• Identify, design, and implement modifications to existing programs.
• Detect and troubleshoot application issues and perform test reviews.
• Write clear, quality code and contribute to code reviews.
• Work with SQL Server stored procedures and T‑SQL queries.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Required profile

• Team player who can thrive in a small, hybrid work environment.
• Preferably based in Pretoria and willing to work on‑site when needed.
• Self‑starter with a “jack‑of‑all‑trades” attitude, ready to assist in various IT areas.

Required skills

• ASP.NET MVC (minimum 2 years).
• C# (3+ years).
• .NET Core / .NET 6, MVC, Razor Pages.
• SQL Server – stored procedures and T‑SQL.
• JavaScript and jQuery.
• HTML & CSS.
• Knowledge of security best practices.
• Familiarity with Blazor, Angular or React, and mobile development is a plus.
