Mid-Level Full-Stack Shopify Developer

About the role

Keen is looking for a Mid-Level Full-Stack Shopify Developer to own a client account and drive both technical execution and growth initiatives. You will build, optimize, and evolve Shopify experiences while actively seeking ways to improve conversion rates and overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify sites, including custom themes, features, and third‑party integrations.
• Identify CRO opportunities, propose experiments, and implement A/B tests.
• Customize themes to meet brand, UX/UI, and performance goals.
• Implement and manage apps, payment gateways, analytics, and other integrations.
• Optimize site speed, SEO, and conversion metrics.
• Troubleshoot bugs and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with the E‑commerce Manager on strategy and execution.
• Communicate updates, ideas, and recommendations to clients.
• Manage product data, collections, and site structure within Shopify.
• Build and test new features using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Work with Shopify Plus and explore headless implementations (Hydrogen, React).

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on Shopify development experience.
• Strong communication skills and experience in client‑facing roles.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on conversion rate optimization.

Required skills

• Shopify Liquid templating language.
• HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript.
• Shopify Plus advanced capabilities.
• Headless Shopify architectures (Hydrogen, React).
• Shopify APIs and third‑party app integration.
• Version control using Git.
• Performance optimization and SEO best practices.
