Mid-Level Front-End Developer – Cape Town

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mid‑Level Front‑End Developer to join a fast‑growing technical agency in Cape Town. You will build modern, responsive web applications and take ownership of features from concept through deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance client‑facing web applications.
• Transform UI designs and technical specifications into clean, responsive, and accessible front‑end code.
• Integrate and manage dynamic content using a headless CMS such as Directus.
• Debug and resolve front‑end issues, including API and third‑party integration problems.
• Collaborate with designers and back‑end developers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Write maintainable code following industry best practices and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure performance, usability and cross‑browser compatibility of all web assets.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Production experience with JavaScript frameworks, preferably Nuxt.js.
• Proficiency with Git and version‑control workflows.
• Ability to build responsive, accessible and user‑friendly interfaces.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and attention‑to‑detail.
• Based in Cape Town or willing to work on‑site.
