Mid Graphic Designer

About the role

Lumico is seeking a dynamic graphic designer to join its Creative team in Stellenbosch. The role focuses on turning client briefs into striking visual assets across digital and print, ensuring brand‑consistent, professional output.

Key responsibilities

• Understand client strategies, business problems, briefs and the desired message.
• Conceptualise collateral proofs to meet key client deliverables.
• Package creative concepts into evocative pitches and present them to clients.
• Deliver inventive visuals for digital and print, adhering to best practices for each platform.
• Prepare artwork in the correct format, size and colour codes for specified platforms.
• Collaborate with creative and strategic teams to develop concepts for campaigns and pitches.
• Use internal platforms such as Wrike to maintain clear feedback loops between creative parties and management.
• Provide feedback on successful initiatives and areas for improvement in design execution.
• Ensure accurate, on‑time delivery of work.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in graphic design or a related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong competency in the Adobe suite and other graphic design software.
• Experience creating designs for social media, digital media and layout design.
• Effective communication and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Dynamic, energetic and able to work independently without direct reports.

What we offer
