Medical Science Liaison

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a credible scientific representative of the company, building and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals across designated therapeutic areas. The role focuses on delivering accurate medical information, gathering scientific insights, and supporting the brand’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with external stakeholders, including opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, to establish scientific dialogues aligned with brand objectives.
• Provide medical and scientific information on company products and broader therapeutic area knowledge.
• Attend and lead local or regional scientific meetings and conferences, reporting emerging scientific advances to internal teams.
• Discuss unmet needs, treatment landscapes, guidelines, and pipeline molecules with medical specialists.
• Develop and monitor adoption metrics for company products among clinicians.
• Design and implement patient support or early‑access programs as required.
• Stay current on clinical developments and assess implications for the local business.
• Collaborate with external scientific organizations to create long‑term activity plans.
• Coordinate scientific publications in reputable journals.
• Perform key opinion leader mapping and establish scientific advisory boards under COE guidance.
• Prepare speaker development programs in partnership with global medical affairs.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background with deep knowledge of the relevant therapeutic area.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and building relationships with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and accurately.
• Willingness to travel frequently for field‑based activities and conference attendance.
