Medical Science Liaison – Democratic Republic of Congo

About the role

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) acts as a scientific bridge between the healthcare community and the client company, delivering accurate medical information and gathering clinical insights within a specific therapeutic area. This contract position is based on‑premise in the Democratic Republic of Congo and supports the overall medical strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals in line with company guidance.
• Educate HCPs on the company’s medicines, real‑world evidence, and clinical data.
• Identify and engage key opinion leaders and top customers for scientific discussions.
• Collect and share customer insights internally to inform medical and commercial strategies.
• Lead or support non‑interventional studies, partnerships, and investigator‑sponsored research.
• Deliver live and virtual scientific presentations while maintaining a patient‑centred focus.

Required profile

• University degree in Medicine or Pharmacy.
• 1–3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (medical, clinical, or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, policies, and local regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment and manage multiple field‑based projects.
