Medical Data Review Manager – Rheumatology (Remote)

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Medical Data Review Manager specialized in rheumatology to lead a remote team delivering high‑quality clinical data review products. You will act as the subject‑matter expert, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑stream data trend analysis to support data quality, protocol compliance, and patient data review.
• Define data capture requirements aligned with study protocols and reporting needs.
• Represent the clinical data scientist at multidisciplinary and external meetings.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and track service performance.
• Identify root causes of issues, implement remedial actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide therapeutic area training for project teams and attend kick‑off, weekly, and client meetings.
• Manage staff performance, professional development, and HR actions in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably a board‑certified rheumatologist.
• Strong understanding of clinical/medical data, medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated project management and coaching capabilities.
