Mechanical Engineer – Mining & Minerals Projects

About the role
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our consulting and engineering team, focusing on large‑scale mining and minerals projects, including remote and third‑world locations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review technical and contract specifications, calculations, design criteria, tender and installation documents in line with project and statutory requirements.
- Act as discipline lead engineer when required, ensuring design support for construction methods and plant maintenance.
- Maintain up‑to‑date project filing systems and uphold design engineering standards across all projects.
Required profile
- BSc, BEng or B.Tech graduate, registered with ECSA or willing to register and progress to Professional Engineer status.
- Willingness to complete the ECSA candidate registration process.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of at least one CAD application.
