Mechanical Engineer – Machine Design

About the role

An innovative engineering team is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong machine‑design experience to develop industrial machinery from concept through to production. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, reliable and manufacturable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and industrial equipment from initial concept to final production.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings and comprehensive design documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis, load calculations and material selection.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical, cost‑effective and manufacturable.
• Support prototype development, testing and validation of machine designs.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment.
• Work with electrical and automation engineers to integrate mechanical systems with control components.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations and quality requirements.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in machine design or industrial equipment design.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical and technical abilities.
