Mechanical Design Graduate

About the role

Jendamark Automation is seeking a motivated Mechanical Design Graduate to join its design department. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop engineering designs and solutions that meet customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in ECR designs and detailing of small fixtures, tools and special‑purpose applications.
• Help identify the most effective design solutions and specify components for procurement.
• Collaborate with assembly and commissioning teams throughout project phases.
• Under mentorship, prepare design release packages for manufacturing and final designs within budget constraints.
• Ensure compliance with Jendamark’s ISO procedures and contribute to cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Formal tertiary education – N. Dip or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Driver’s licence Code 8.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans; German is an advantage.
• Basic hand‑sketching ability, concept development experience, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
