Mechanical Design Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems from concept through to production.
• Reverse‑engineer measuring equipment to analyse, enhance and optimise existing designs.
• Create detailed, production‑ready drawings and 3D models using advanced CAD tools.
• Ensure smooth design‑to‑manufacturing integration with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality and procurement teams to deliver high‑performance solutions.
• Conduct testing, validation and design reviews to guarantee reliability and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical design within a production‑focused environment.
• Practical experience in reverse engineering and working with measuring equipment.
• Strong CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor or similar).
• Solid knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges.
