About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing digital marketing agency, is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to work on‑site in Durbanville. You will be at the heart of high‑performance social campaigns, bridging SEO, paid media and brand storytelling to drive measurable results for diverse clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, coordination and execution of social media campaigns, focusing on Meta platforms.
• Create strategic monthly content plans aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.
• Produce high‑quality written copy for both organic and paid social initiatives.
• Manage, optimise and report on Meta advertising performance.
• Schedule and publish content across multiple social channels.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure social strategy supports search visibility.
• Liaise directly with clients for content approvals and campaign direction.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Meta updates, AI‑driven search trends and broader digital marketing developments.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field.
• 3–5 years of agency experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to interpret performance metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Intellectually curious, commercially aware and comfortable working with new technologies, especially AI tools.
