About the role
The Marketing Manager (Talent Pool) will act as the custodian of Capitec’s integrated marketing plan, ensuring the right message reaches the right client at the right time on the appropriate platform. You will advise internal business stakeholders, understand market and client needs, and help acquire and optimise quality clients to meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies and plans for Capitec’s products and services.
- Analyse market trends, client profiling and segmentation to inform campaign decisions.
- Coordinate cross‑functional projects and manage a marketing team.
- Deliver brand‑consistent messaging across digital, e‑commerce and traditional channels.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimise for client acquisition and retention.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 + years marketing experience in a large, complex, client‑focused organisation.
- Experience managing a team, preferably in FMCG, retail banking or services.
- Grade 12 or National Certificate/Vocational; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management; postgraduate degree preferred.
- Knowledge of brand marketing, data analysis, digital marketing, strategic marketing management, campaign management and stakeholder management.
- Familiarity with Capitec’s environment and products is an advantage.
Required skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
- Problem‑solving, management and decision‑making abilities.
