Marketing Manager – Hotel & Resort

About the role

The Hotel & Resort in Central Drakensberg seeks a Marketing Manager to lead all marketing activities, strengthen the brand, and drive guest enquiries. You will work closely with hotel management, reservations, and external partners to ensure consistent, high‑quality communication across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the internal marketing team, external agency, contractors, and media partners.
• Oversee the hotel website, ensuring up‑to‑date rates, packages, imagery and functional booking links.
• Develop and approve monthly social‑media content, captions and campaign messaging.
• Plan, execute and monitor digital campaigns on social platforms, Google, email and WhatsApp, analysing performance and conversion metrics.
• Identify and manage advertising and editorial opportunities across print, online, radio and TV, handling costings, artwork and payments.
• Collaborate with reservations to follow up on social‑media enquiries and ensure seamless guest communication.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing marketing functions in the hospitality sector.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Excellent written communication and brand‑consistent copywriting abilities.
• Analytical mindset for tracking campaign results and providing actionable insights.
