Marketing Intern – Accountants & Small Segment

About the role

Join Sage’s Accountants and Small Direct marketing team in Midrand as a Marketing Intern. You will gain hands‑on experience across B2B campaign execution, digital marketing, events, reporting and stakeholder collaboration while supporting the promotion of cloud solutions for accountants and small businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with campaign briefs, asset coordination, landing‑page updates and email/nurture support.
• Support accountant engagement activities such as roadshows, webinars, certification programmes and customer spotlights.
• Help generate demand for Sage Accounting and Sage for Accountants through free‑trial, onboarding and customer‑engagement initiatives.
• Track campaign, lead, free‑trial and conversion performance for reporting and optimisation.
• Coordinate events and webinars, including registration, stakeholder follow‑up and post‑event reporting.
• Maintain project trackers, action logs and reporting inputs for marketing interlocks and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Grade 12 matric certificate.
• Degree or national diploma in Marketing Management.
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office.
• Clear criminal record and currently unemployed.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong communication skills.
• Good understanding of customers in the accounting, payroll & HR environment.
• Proactive, motivated attitude with a strong desire to learn.
