Marketing Graduate Business Development Trainee

About the role

A client of Overberg Personnel is looking for an ambitious and confident graduate to start a career in business development within the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Rosslyn, Pretoria, starts as soon as possible and offers hands-on training and mentorship while working towards becoming a Business Development Executive. The salary is R14,000 to R19,000 depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and generate new sales leads.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Assist with quotations, proposals and client presentations.
• Support the Business Development team with sales activities.
• Attend client meetings and learn the company's products, services and manufacturing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or a related qualification (essential).
• Recently graduated or up to 2 years' experience.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle (essential).
• Fluent Afrikaans and English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised, confident and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
