Manufacturing Process Engineer – HPHT Metallurgical/Mechanical

About the role

This senior position leads the optimisation and industrialisation of high‑pressure high‑temperature (HPHT) manufacturing processes. You will own end‑to‑end process performance, drive yield improvements and ensure stable, cost‑effective production.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise manufacturing processes to improve yield, throughput, stability, quality and cost.
• Lead structured problem‑solving using DMAIC, RCA, 8D, FMEA and SPC methodologies.
• Define and govern SOPs, process standards, engineering controls, operating limits and control plans.
• Drive industrialisation, commissioning, scale‑up and technology transfer into volume manufacturing.
• Use process data, monitoring, automation and digital manufacturing tools to enhance process insight and control.
• Partner with Production, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve complex issues.
• Provide technical leadership, coach teams and take on people‑management responsibilities.
• Support business cases for process improvement, technology deployment and capital investment.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, process engineering or materials‑processing.
• Strong background in process optimisation, industrialisation, scale‑up and statistical process control.
• Demonstrated ability to solve difficult production problems with a data‑driven approach.
• Senior‑level technical leadership and experience influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
