Manufacturing Compounder / Mixing Operator

About the role

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Compounder / Mixing Operator to join its production environment. The successful candidate will weigh and mix raw materials accurately according to production procedures, while ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOP requirements. The position is advertised by O'Brien Recruitment in Parow, Western Cape.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accurate stock counts and inventory control, and check expiry dates.
• Weigh raw materials according to Batch Manufacturing Documents (BMDs).
• Combine batches accurately and on time.
• Operate and clean production equipment, and verify measuring equipment daily.
• Confirm equipment remains within its calibration period and complete verification records.
• Complete in-process production documentation and verify BMDs against the production plan.
• Submit completed documentation to the Supervisor and keep documents legible and protected.

Required profile

• Matric / NQF Level 4.
• At least 3 years of relevant compounder experience, plus similar production or manufacturing experience.
• Able to lift 25 kg.
• Good written and verbal English, strong attention to detail, reliable and punctual.
• Knowledge of cGMP and QMS is advantageous.
