Manager, SME Product Management

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, SME Product Management to support the Head of SME Product Development for EEMEA. The role will lead the development and management of small‑business solutions across Africa, working with issuers, acquirers, governments, fintechs and other digital partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive Africa SME product strategy through benchmarking, competitive analysis and profitability modelling.
• Collaborate with regional commercial leads, issuers and partners to design customized SME programs.
• Develop business cases and opportunity assessments for new product ideas.
• Track portfolio performance, assess product economics and refine strategies based on results.
• Provide thought leadership on innovative card and acquiring programs for the small‑business segment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the small‑business market in Africa.
• Experience in product strategy, business case development and market research.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with global product teams, regional sales and delivery teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
