Manager - Group Capital Portfolio Management

About the role

The Manager: Group Capital Portfolio Management supports and executes the Group Capital Management Strategy by actively managing the consolidation capital portfolio across the Group and its businesses. The role reports to the Senior Manager: Capex Allocation and Profitability Analysis and sits within MTN's Group Finance function.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Capital Portfolio Strategy, including forecasting, budgeting and capital planning, and recommend portfolio adjustments and reallocations
• Conduct due diligence on key investment proposals to inform Capex release decisions
• Produce consolidated strategic and financial reports, forecasts and variance analyses for senior management
• Monitor and report on portfolio performance, cost-return metrics, investment outcomes and capital utilisation across OpCos, regions and business units
• Define and track performance metrics such as Capex-to-Revenue, Capex-to-EBITDA and Capex-to-FTE ratios
• Evaluate investment proposals against return requirements, risk parameters and capital constraints, and highlight high-performing and underperforming investments
• Run internal and external benchmarking and lead post-investment reviews to improve capital allocation
