Management Support & Quality Manager

About the role

This full‑time position is based in Ladysmith and reports to senior management. The Management Support & Quality Manager will ensure the factory’s ISO 9001:2015 certification is maintained, oversee quality documentation, and provide general management support for the production of innovative canvas and PVC tents.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification and manage the internal audit programme.
• Update and control the Quality Management Manual, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate external surveillance audits and review meetings.
• Compile acceptance test procedures and manage defect/non‑conformance processes, including corrective and preventive actions.
• Write user and technical specifications for products and systems.
• Produce and keep product manuals and user instructions up to date.
• Deliver training on quality management and product systems as required.

Required profile

• Matriculation plus a relevant tertiary qualification.
• 3–6 years of experience, with at least 3 years focused on ISO standards.
• Experience in textile manufacturing of canvas products and hard‑wall structures.
• Knowledge of water and power reticulation installation is advantageous.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ladysmith or relocate.
