Maintenance Assistant – Mould Fitting & Plant Support

About the role
Feltex is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support mould fitting and assist with both preventative and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment. The role is hands‑on, focused on keeping machinery running safely and efficiently under the guidance of the Regional Maintenance Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with routine inspections of plant and equipment.
- Perform basic repairs and support corrective maintenance tasks.
- Carry out mould fitting activities as required.
- Maintain tools, work areas and documentation related to maintenance activities.
- Support the scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance programmes.
Required profile
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow established maintenance procedures.
- Good physical stamina for manual tasks.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems is advantageous.
