Luxury Hotel Sales Manager – Franschhoek

About the role

We are seeking a Luxury Hotel Sales Manager to lead commercial growth for a distinguished hospitality destination in the Franschhoek Winelands. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships and driving high‑value business across domestic and international markets, while maintaining the brand’s premium positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive sales strategies to increase leisure, corporate and group revenue.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in local and overseas markets.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with luxury travel advisors, DMCs, tour operators and corporate clients.
• Manage existing accounts through regular communication, presentations and site inspections.
• Negotiate commercial agreements while protecting the property’s premium image.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management and Reservations to optimise occupancy and revenue.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and prepare forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Represent the property at trade shows, networking events and roadshows, supporting marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in luxury hotel sales or business development.
• Proven track record of generating new business and managing key client relationships.
• Experience within luxury hotels, boutique properties or premium hospitality brands.
• Strong understanding of the luxury leisure travel market.
• Existing relationships with travel advisors, tour operators, DMCs or corporate travel partners are advantageous.
