Logistics Specialist – Data Center Operations

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services and help keep the world’s largest cloud infrastructure running smoothly. As a Logistics Specialist you will manage inventory, inbound shipments and part flow for AWS data centers, ensuring that build and repair teams have the components they need, when they need them.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries with vendors, carriers and transportation teams.
• Receive, ship and record parts in physical and inventory systems, maintaining accurate data at all times.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to fulfill parts requests quickly and accurately.
• Resolve inventory queries and maintain data entry across multiple systems.
• Execute stock transfers between locations globally to optimise parts availability.
• Manage inventory through regular cycle counts, storage organisation, cleanliness and safety.
• Process warranty returns (RMAs) directly with vendors and receive replacement parts.
• Operate pallet jacks, trolleys and carts to move materials throughout the facility.
• Support ad‑hoc analysis and projects based on business needs.

Required profile

• Motivated, hardworking individual comfortable working in a warehouse‑style environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items up to 18 kg.
• Commitment to strict safety standards and ability to travel to other locations when required.
