Logistics & Safety Operator

About the role

The Logistics & Safety Operator ensures safe and efficient movement of materials on the warehouse and manufacturing floor. This position combines hands‑on logistics tasks with active participation in safety programs, incident investigations and risk assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform work‑at‑height operations using a retractable fall arrest system and ensure its inspection and maintenance.
• Secure truck loads (approximately 8 trucks per day), conduct pre‑use safety briefings and manage traffic safety on‑site.
• Assemble sprinkler kits, cut cables, validate completeness and record activities in the QAD system.
• Operate forklifts, stackers or hoists safely and back‑flush material usage accurately.
• Enforce proper PPE use, conduct toolbox talks and support emergency preparedness.
• Monitor contractor activities, participate in inductions and stop work when safety standards are not met.

Required profile

• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with a focus on safety.
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and conduct risk assessments.
• Strong attention to detail for equipment inspections and documentation.
• Physical capability to work at heights and handle material handling equipment.
